The Senior Manager, Creative Project Management is responsible for leading projects and actively manages campaign execution and timelines, cross functional dependencies and operational planning and processes to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and process management skills are critical to being successful in this role, in addition to an adaptable, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage through ambiguity.
What You’ll Do
Project Management Function
- Manage all Creative Project Management and function, overseeing a portfolio of campaigns that range in complexity and channel.
- Support the establishment of processes, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature the Creative capability while aligning with industry best practices and maximizing efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally to execute and implement operations and processes that address anticipated needs and interdependencies.
- Demonstrate an extensive understanding of project management principles, methods, and change management.
- Support implementation of Project Management Tool(s) and supporting processes.
- Own and orchestrate regular cross-functional marketing leadership review meetings.
- Continue professional development, including emerging technologies, methods, and best practices.
Team Leadership, Coaching and Development
- Lead team of Project Managers; responsible for managing, training, coaching, setting goals, fostering development plans, and conducting performance reviews.
- Provided direction and support to project teams, including issue, risk, and conflict management.
- Create an inspiring and inclusive team environment with an open communication culture.
Strong Communication / Relationship Management
- Exemplary leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills.
- Strong and proven communication and presentation skills across all levels of management.
- Excel at building and maintaining relationships to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, operations, related field or equivalent work experience
- 10+ Years progressive Marketing or related experience
- 5+ years in Project Management, operations or production experience
- Proficient knowledge across creative, production, marketing, and technology
- 6+ Years people or resource leadership and/or management experience (indirect or direct)
- Direct people leadership experience
- Agency, retail and/or consumer electronics experience
- Familiarity with Workfront and/or other software that manages workflow and collaboration
